Inkworld Tattoo Studio

We took over hosting and maintenance for this site back in 2019 as the client wasn’t happy with their previous developer or host. The website design was fine so we left it as-is, but we tweaked a lot of functionality that wasn’t working the way the client wanted. We ran a full security audit of the site and found a handful of malicious files. Thankfully, the site wasn’t pulling any ecommerce functionality at the time, so after cleaning up the malware we weren’t super concerned.

We eventually added the ability for Inkworld’s customers to be able to pay a tattoo deposit online. We also implemented a promotional video they had onto the homepage. Aside from that, it was just code cleanup and optimizations to make the site run as fast as the previous design would allow.

LogoCrescent charged the client $300 to transfer the site away from their service. In reality this meant $300 to ransom the client’s (already paid for) website back to them….

This was the first time we trialed AI for copywriting, and it worked out pretty well. The primary reason for going that route was getting a fast turnaround time for the site build, and we ultimately finished it in under a week. This also gave us the chance to flex our new website framework, and…
